Can you imagine the psychological burden that comes this much power, coupled with so little self worth? Respect for others starts with self respect. Disrespect for others is a window into one’s most lonely self loathing.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

If college students don’t learn empathy by witnessing the lives of characters in great literature or work out whether they favor dutybound or utilitarian ethics or feel the rhetorical power of artworks or learn history to make sense of past & present, we get hubristic AI companies called Prometheus.
"[admin]...who regard the...students of their own universities with such contempt as to be undeserving of the education that in many cases those administrators themselves, or their parents, or their children received...are an enemy of the educational enterprise"

As a coach, I’m trained to look and listen to identify what drives people. Megyn Kelly is a broken, sad individual who masks that sadness in contempt and superiority. That doesn’t justify her ghoulishness, but take a minute to ask what a woman must have experienced in life to justify child rape.

The kids are all right. Kids like this, anyway.
Hey Megyn Kelly,

14-year-old Eloise would like a word:

“If my voice makes you uncomfortable, good…
because the minute adults start defending predators by defending the age of a child, you’re not protecting the truth, you’re protecting the predator.”

When Geraldine Ferraro ran for VP, people asked if I supported her because she’s also Italian American & shares a family surname. Turns out Cuomo’s grandma has my family name and comes from the same town in Italy. Related? Does that mean I support Cuomo?

Congrats Mayor #Mamdani, kin in spirit.

1. Some tips for Saturday’s No Kings Rallies…

Fox is bringing on Republican representatives to scare viewers into thinking the No Kings rallies across the country (and world) this Saturday are going to be attended by (the imaginary) hate-filled RADICAL LEFTIST ANTIFA crowd, when in fact…

After looking at the map Murray posted, look at the states where the majority of voters didn’t vote for Trump in ‘24, and then look at which states the taxpayer pays more in taxes to the federal government than the states get back.

Here are the states Vought said would not receive funds for infrastructure projects, many of which are underway. Then look @ the states whose majority of voters didnt vote for Trump in 24. Then look @ which states pay more in taxes than they get back from the fed. gov.

Cuomo is to the Yankees as Mamdani is to the Mets.

Cuomo is to Quake as Mamdani is to Quisp.

Cuomo is to Goofus as Mamdani is to Gallant.

Cuomo is to Goliath as Mamdani is to David.

To anyone under 55, look them up. To everyone, vote for the guy who fights for the underdog.

Philosopher Richard Rorty would have agreed. He thought conversation in a democracy included shaming and embarrassing those whose anti-democratic statements demean or harm others. In fact, it's all that has really ever worked to limit bigotry and bring the marginalized inside the community.
"Common decency stigmatizes people that do not participate in it—removes them from voluntary association. We indeed have to live with one another, but terms and conditions apply."

We saw the recent cruelty of MAGA denying empathy to Melissa Hortman

A guy found politicians’ Spotify playlists. The scandalous facts:

JD Vance is still 15 years old.

Karoline Leavitt wakes up nightly deeply conflicted.

Mike Johnson has a steamy side.

Pam Bondi needs to release the Epstein files.

Ron DeSantis is as boring as u thought.

Stewart & Colbert aren’t comedians. Theyre political satirists who understand that telling truth to power requires a veil of humor.

Stewart is an incisive critic. Whether he can succeed as a politician is up for grabs. The celebrity factor does seem, strangely, right.

I was skeptical about a Stewart candidacy, but maybe ‘The Daily Show’ host is the right person to shake up the Democratic presidential primaries.

Jimmy Carter put solar panels on the Whitehouse roof. Ronald Reagan promptly removed them when he entered office.

Joy and hope for the future vs. vindictiveness and reactionary policies.

We’ll be seeing so much more of the latter in a few weeks.
