the way he's done it here is very diy, not product-oriented, but still neat
it runs Mixxx (GPL license) rather than a custom engine like i'm attempting, which is admittedly a quicker path to working & makes more sense for diy retrofit

I don't get this whole artificial imposition of rules on what community tools should or should not show their users. if someone wants to see posts from someone who blocked them, cool! the block feature still works as expected for the one doing the blocking!

It probably makes more sense to have the limit be like per user, and allow users to have like a file browser to manage their personal repo storage, and deleting blobs also means deleting all records that references it, or just auto deleting records with unknown blob cid references

Phones used to come with chargers, too, but now that they (widely) do not it’s not as if people’s phones just die & never get re-charged because of the prohibitive “entry level”. I just don’t think the culprit is lack of wired headphone facilitation. That’s all.
