Reminder: we are being trained not to care about other people. It underlines the attacks on migrants, on DEI, on trans youth, on so-called "wokeness."

Sure there are legitimate critiques but this is not about critiques. It's about supercharging capitalism's culture of uncare.

But we're not backing down in our pursuit of racial justice.

Correct.
We never really integrated. Full integration wouldn't have seen the demise of Black businesses or establishments. HBCUs wouldn't still lag in funding behind PWIs either. There would be no need for DEIA policies or practices in a fully integrated society.

The West has been in denial about censorship for far too long
It is time for Western societies to stop lecturing others and open their eyes to their own realities of repression.

Ah, the 1930s Germany frame.

But in the post-reconstruction era, America had Jim Crow, the resegregation of the federal workforce, and deadly pogroms against black people in the South.

We’ve been here before. It’s just it didn’t happen to white people.

Where do yall think Germany learned from?
Interesting question: if you were living in Germany in the ‘30s in which year would you call it and emigrate?

The reason “cute winter boots” is taking off isn’t because it’s some secret code (the code has already been revealed and all of MAGA tiktok has made videos on it) it’s bc using product-focused language allows users to circumvent algorithmic downranking. They’re hijacking TikTok’s e-commerce push.
