Several years ago, I decided to build a basic #homelab by buying a used Dell workstation. It had 4 GB of RAM and one hard drive and a pretty old CPU with integrated graphics. Now I have a used Dell PowerEdge R720 with 8 bays and an EBOD with 12 bays. Needless to say, this hobby got expensive fast

After deleting the TikTok app, I decided it was a good time to delete Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger while I was at it. It’s not like I used them often anyways, and may as well take the time to cleanse a bit.

I think two things that we have learned from the attempted #TikTokBan is 1) that the US government is hopelessly out of their depth on tech and 2) younger crowds don't have the instilled Red Fear that Boomers and Gen X had. Younger people don't fear China like the older generations do.
