this win is glorious.
I’m celebrating so many things today but one is that the racist smear campaign led by billionaires collapsed like a meringue in the heat

Hope you enjoyed burning all that money Ackman

Like a scene out of a movie, LAPD on horseback emerged out of a cloud of tear gas so thick it obscured the entire block and left hundreds injured. They would go on to continue assaulting protesters and press.

What we are seeing in Los Angeles right now with #NoKings is after several hours of a massive protest that was 100%, law enforcement—abruptly and without provocation—began firing tear gas, flash bangs and pepper balls at protesters.

It was broadcast live on air. “Unrest” is on them.
Remarkable.

MSNC: "I want to reiterate this has been 100% peaceful."

Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd.

Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

Nobody is rioting. Nobody is breaking any laws. These are cops in my city of Las Vegas just assaulting and arresting anyone on Fremont Street who looks at them. This is fascism.

JOURNALISTS IN LA or COVERING FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT:

Press rights groups are trying to coordinate responses to unlawful attacks by federal officers against journalists during protests. If you can help ID individuals in charge of operations (incident commander, etc.) & contact info please LMK.

I just watched this go down. Police continue to be overly aggressive
They're really popping off now

They're shooting at a line of people waving American flags behind Road Closed signs. I think one person threw an egg maybe. It hit like 20 feet in front of the cops. This is obscene

Senior officers of the United States military have an obligation to speak up and be leaders. Where is the Army chief of staff? Will he or others speak truth to the commander in chief and put a stop to the assault on the integrity of his troops? www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...
The Silence of the Generals
As President Donald Trump crossed a dangerous line at Fort Bragg, the Army’s brass failed to speak out in its defense.

4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care - Los Angeles Times

Don’t ever tell me that Christians support the GOP. There is nothing Christian or Christ-like about this. Just plain old cruelty and callousness:
4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care
In 2023, a Mexican girl, 4, was allowed U.S. entry for lifesaving medical care. She and her parents, who live in Bakersfield, have been told they must leave.
