It all started to go wrong on 23rd June 2016

Skeptic, old, worried about the world, lucky to be child-free

Suppose Lucy Connolly had said what she said on TV or wrote it in a newspaper - would that be ok?

The fact that she tweeted it doesn't lessen the offence does it?

So why do people say 'jailed for a tweet' like that makes it OK?

Removal of the winter fuel allowance was either the right thing to do or it wasn't

It's popularity or lack of it shouldn't be a factor

Spent all of Sunday in A&E with extreme BP 210/95 never having had a BP problem before

All OK now but how can that happen?

Be not afraid

The UK’s GDP is 50% bigger than Russia’s and GDP per capita three times as great (as with most EU countries).

The economic power of the EU alone (without the UK) is EIGHT times larger than Russia.

The EU is a superpower. Russia is not. And should not be treated like one

Yesterday it was not enough children

Today it's population explosion

Make your minds up - do we need more people or not?

today - brilliant!

Whether or not you agree with his point (public funding of election campaigns) you have to admire the way he made it

Floored Susanna and Madeley consummately

I'm sure we used to call it bullshit

I've kept my twitter account just to see what goes on there

Today it has reached new disgusting depths

It's dragging the rest of the world down into its hell

It's deliberate

And worrying

This is tediously stupid now…

Really. Just stop with the idiotic headlines and the swagger and the EUphobic chest-thumping. Brexit is a shitshow. You know it. We know it. Even Trump might know it. Pipe down. Accept that you ballsed it. And leave us to deal with the embarrassing mess you all made.

It is no surprise that Leavers point to the EU’s problems and argue that they justify Brexit.  It is an argument that will have some impact, but there are at least five reasons why it should not.
