So like I don't really mind self-censorship to get around content blocks on certain platforms (e.g. unalive) because that's just the game that has to be played in order to talk about certain topics that need discussing. When an adult goes out of their way to say "f***" instead of fuck, I lose it.

Reading a book I'm not gonna name; it's set in contemporary-ish America. I'm half-way through it and was enjoying it till the chapter I just landed on where we got 5 jokes about "woke" aphorisms (I suppose) and a reference to an 18 year old as a millennial. I'm tired, boss.

Hey - I'm willing to admit my thread from earlier was wrong based on this information.
Ive seen "Platner is either racist or really stupid" to explain why he has a Nazi tattoo but the answer of "both" seems to be relevant after he covered up the Nazi tattoo with a more obscure Nazi tattoo and went "good enough".

Recently found out that someone I was friendly with but not super close to is a somewhat closet conservative. I confronted her about this. Decided LOTR was a good movie series to throw on in the background while I work. I know I'm not the first to make this observation, but Gandalf being blown away that his friend whose name is basically "Evil McVillain" is in league with the BBEG is never not funny to me.
