Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

I keep going back to this. This is a taunt. They're taunting us. There is no other possible interpretation of what they're doing.

But media simply ignores this deranged behavior, because if they talk about it, one must conclude that DHS is a rogue agency, of villainous paramilitary thugs.

Rest in peace. Laws of Gravity could stand a mention here; also an early movies of his, and a quality, early showcase of Paul Schulze and Edie Falco too.
Peter Greene, a character actor who made a career out of playing villains, including in “Pulp Fiction,” “The Mask” and dozens of other films and TV shows, has died. He was 60.

I’ll never forget hearing Donald Trump’s racist “shithole countries” comment in a 2018 Oval Office meeting about immigration.

Tom Cotton and David Perdue claimed Trump didn’t say it and accused me of lying.

The truth comes out.
TRUMP: “I said why is it we only take people from shithole countries? Why can't we have some people from Norway, Sweden, Denmark… But we always take people from Somalia— places that are filthy, dirty, disgusting.”

Such a mystery what he means when he says this stuff, isn’t it?

Nailed it - that smirking disdain. We'll see him put his feet up on the desk on-air sometime soon if his bullshit keeps going unchecked.
I can’t help thinking that America may have landed their own Jacob Rees-Mogg.
You have to be fucking kidding me with this shit!

There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

Little League coaches, neighbors, pedestrians using cell phones to record ICE arrests put themselves at risk every day to fight fascism. Meanwhile, powerful billionaires grovel and debase themselves so the mad king might exempt them as he ruins the rest of the country.

Last night’s dinner with Trump and Big Tech wasn’t a policy meeting. It was basically 'The Bachelor,' except instead of roses, the prize was the president’s approval.
All the President’s Tech CEOs
At a White House dinner Thursday night, America’s tech executives put on an uncanny display of fealty to Donald Trump.

I almost can't believe that Elon Musk's AI called for the extermination of the Jewish people yesterday, and today not a single Congressional Democrat announced they were leaving his media network.

A party that often claims to act against antisemitism didn't do jack shit about straight up Nazism.

New Column: Economists are increasingly talking up a 2025 recession. For a Republican president (and Congress), it would be par for the course. newrepublic.com/article/1933... via @newrepublic.com
Of Course Trump Will Tank the Economy. It’s What Republicans Do.
As the president’s “Liberation Day” nears, it’s time to liberate ourselves from the vicious cycle of Democrats having to clean up the GOP’s messes.

Nearly every comment below this post asks what you're going to do about this, and none of us are asking rhetorically.
Trump and Musk are recklessly and illegally dismantling USAID, an essential national security agency that saves lives, advances U.S. interests, and promotes peace.
