About this Florida vaccine story:

When they were little - 1 yr and 3 1/2 - my two older boys, who’d had all their shots, got whooping cough.

We asked their pediatrician what would’ve happened if they hadn’t been vaccinated.

“Oh, they’d have died.”

16 of the 26 Day One executive orders signed by Trump were ripped straight from the pages of Project 2025.

Russ Vought, an architect of Project 2025, testifies before the Senate today as Trump's OMB nominee.

Project 2025 was always the MAGA agenda.
Trump’s First Orders Parrot Project 2025 Manifesto He Disavowed
After distancing himself from the corporate policy agenda during his campaign, President Donald Trump is issuing executive orders torn straight from its pages.

A couple of Florida Scrub Jays I was able to take photos of at the Lyonia Preserve in Deltona, Florida. They are surprisingly bold and allowed us to get really close. #birds #nature #Florida #photography

I took this photo on January 2nd at Fort Christmas Historical Park in Christmas, FL while participating in the annual Christmas bird count for #Audubon. I loved the way the light was shining through the trees and casting shadows. #Florida #nature #photography

There’s a reason why Bernie’s key policy proposal in 2016 was Medicare for All and there’s a reason why the establishment waged an all out war on 2016 Bernie leaders for continuing to push Medicare for All.

If Dems want to win elections, they need to take on the health insurance industry.

In 1989, the super-rich held $472 billion in unrealized capital gains.

In 2022, that figure was $8.5 trillion.

While these individuals can live off this wealth as if it were income, none of it is taxed.

When I say our tax code is rigged for the rich, this is what I mean.

Happy International Cat Day!
To celebrate, here is a picture of me giving a kiss to my late cat Oreo. She was the most affectionate cat I’ve ever known and she loved when we gave her kisses.

The world's richest 1% has seen its wealth soar by $42 trillion over the decade.

That’s nearly 34 times more than the bottom 50% of the global population.

Once again: It's not radical to tax the rich. It's radical to allow this level of extreme wealth concentration to continue.

Poverty is a policy choice. Mass incarceration is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. Insulin rationing is a policy choice. Climate disintegration is a policy choice. Billionaire tax loopholes are a policy choice.

Make no mistake: We have the power to change things.

The only surprise is why this isn’t close to 100% - Are 25% of voters holding out the possibility of buying their own SC justice?
75% of voters support a binding ethics code for the Supreme Court.

They're tired of justices receiving millions of dollars in gifts from political donors who have cases before the court.

So why did Senate Republicans block a SCOTUS ethics bill last month?

Hello?
