Mike Johnson wasn’t looking out for the victims.

Unless he counted Trump as one, because Trump certainly thinks he’s the victim here.

30 years ago a wisewoman at my first pagan gathering handed me a long branch, saying my wand was within and I needed to find Her, and I did. She's not flashy, but she's conjured much magick! She is one of my most treasured items.🥰🪄

Five corporations control 90% of the US media market.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

I stand with unionized Starbucks workers, who are on strike across the country right now for better wages and working conditions.

Until Starbucks strikes a fair bargain with its workers and ceases its union-busting behavior, I'll continue to boycott the company.

Omg.. c'mon media, when you ask "Why did the president pardon someone who he claims not to know", and they answer, "I haven't seen that." The follow-up is "Well now you know, so what do you have to say"?

This is just ludicrous. "I don't know" is basically "I dont care".

Legitimately, lived in Trumbull CT, in the New York media market. My wife wasn’t registered to vote there, but I was. She woke up the morning of the special election to replace George Santos and asked me if I had a plan to vote. She is neither stupid nor uninformed. Just inundated by campaign ads.

While fun to laugh at folks and think they are backwards and stupid, there is a 425 mile shared border between Kentucky and Virginia and countless overlapping stations that run ads for candidates. It is legitimately confusing to see and hear ads and not be able to vote in those races.

Agreed. This is why NYC historically ends up with crappy mayors, because the mayoral elections are in these off years between presidential and midterm elections. Low voter turnout combined with general apathy gave them Eric Adams and like 17 Bloomberg terms.
