That’s a major sign of a dysfunctional democracy.
I’ve tried multiple times to sign up for the mailing list for the DTC, and I have yet to receive a single email.

Im still angry. Even more angry when I see that my city had single digit turnout percentage for the mayoral race.

Jones has been lagging behind Spanberger by 4-4.5% since the first results were reported. If she stays above 55%, I think he will pull out a win.

You all. I am about to lose my entire mind. I went to vote, and my polling place was CLOSED "for 10 minutes" for "the 1 pm count." We finally left 35 minutes later without voting. I told people it was voter suppression and, it turns out, Connecticut Democrats don't like being told that.

Anyone in Charlottesville with some time today would be doing folks a real solid and really helping save the state by parking at Tonsler to tell people the issue and offering rides to anyone who needs a ride up Cherry Ave to vote. Especially as we get closer to the close of polls.

We went to the Edgewood Market this morning and it was packed. Cityseed was giving families $50 in SNAP tokens for free. A donor has been secured for some of that money, but they had already blown through the donation less than an hour in. DONATE TO FEED NEIGHBORS.

We saw one K-pop demon hunter. She was a little black girl and her mom had dyed her hair purple and made a purple bumpy pony tail and it totally made my night!

Even if SNAP gets restored this month, lots of our neighbors are food insecure. You should still donate to your local food banks and find and support food pantries that dont have eligibility requirements.

I mean, they do need fiscal transparency, but I’m not convinced an out of state consultant is the path to take to achieve it.
