This bill would kick millions off their health insurance, and thousands will even lose their lives - unless we stop it in its tracks.

Some Republicans are breaking ranks, showing it's not too late. Time to speak up!

If there was ever a time to call your Senator, this is it.

Voting has begun on the GOP plan to cut off health care for working-class Americans and slash taxes for the wealthiest.

Governor John Carlin has spent his career fighting for Kansas farmers, families, and kids. He's served honorably at the state and federal levels, and he's pushed for important bipartisan reform. I'm proud to have his endorsement.

My bi-annual reminder that long lines at early voting sites are not actually a sign of enthusiasm, but a sign that the local election administrator isn’t prepared or doesn’t have adequate resources.

Now is definitely a good time to avoid taking alarming survey results at face value.
When we used survey methods that maximize respondent attention and understanding, we found only ~5% of people endorsed their party committing violent felonies brightlinewatch.org/tempered-exp... Still too many, but we must reinforce that Americans overwhelmingly reject political violence.

Despite my misgivings about the New York Times, I sincerely wish more media would copy their “we just called back our poll respondents and asked them what they meant by what they said” genre of content.

Bringing good cheer to the voters of Wisconsin!
Justices in Wisconsin Order New Legislative Maps
The ruling, coming just months after liberals gained a 4-to-3 majority on the State Supreme Court, could undo gerrymanders that have given Republicans lopsided control of the State Legislature.

Perennial story I could do without: Party will miss [person holding important office] because she or he is such a good fundraiser.

(Yeah, there may be small variations, but mainly it's the office, not the office holder, that's raising $$$.)

I have to hand it to the moderators for coming up with an exercise that was too stupid and hostile for a GOP debate

I can't believe this needs to be said, but the presumption of innocence that all Americans are rightly entitled to in the criminal legal system does not extend to the court of public opinion, and citizens are well within our rights to demand that politicians credibly accused of corruption resign

I’ll say it again: police in many major cities are on a wildcat strike where they say they can’t fight crime because their hands are tied by woke politicians. “I have bin Laden in my sights but Obama won’t let me take the shot!” ass mf lmao

New from me @goodauth.bsky.social: I show how a change in the Cooperative Election Study from select-all-that-apply to forced-choice produce a big "shift" in immigration attitudes. Maybe only 40 people will care about this, but here's the graph!

It will be hilarious when Trump quietly signs the pledge to get on the ballot, but then proceeds to pretend it never happened and that it doesn't apply to him anyway, without any protest from the Florida GOP.
Florida GOP will require DeSantis, Trump to sign loyalty pledge to make primary ballot
“We were trying to be consistent with what the debate was requiring,” said Evan Power, vice chair of the Republican Party of Florida.
