Candidate for Kansas Governor
Such a great morning yesterday serving breakfast to our veterans at Hyvee! It was a special opportunity to give back and connect with some incredible Kansans who’ve served our country. Thank you to all our veterans! 💙

Running for office takes time, energy, and a whole lot of heart. I couldn’t do any of this without my family. My kids and my husband show up for me every single day, and I’m so grateful for them. 💛

To every Kansan who called, showed up, and spoke out: thank you. 💙

Because of our collective effort, there’s no special session today. This is what fighting for Kansans looks like. 💪 Let’s celebrate this moment and stay ready for what’s next!

When we fight, we win.💙 Ty Masterson and GOP leadership tried to rig our maps, but Kansans stood up and stopped them for now. They’ll try again in 2026 so we’ll stay ready and keep fighting for our state.

Kansas legislators won't have a special session to join the US redistricting battle
The Kansas House's top Republican has given up for now on forcing a special session of the Legislature to redraw the state’s U.S.

What a night for women in politics! 💪💙 Congrats to Governor-Elect Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill who have inspired so many people throughout their campaigns.

Because of Kansans' hard work, we put an end to this redistricting scheme for now. Your voice truly makes a difference. 💙

As of tomorrow, this will be the longest government shutdown in history. For 35 days, politicians in D.C have failed to do their jobs, choosing politics over keeping healthcare affordable. Because of them, families are going without pay, without food assistance, and without care.

It’s Election Day! 🗳️My daughter Sara and I voted early this year, but there’s still time for you to cast your ballot! Local elections keep our communities strong. Find your polling place here ➡️ myvoteinfo.voteks.org/VoterView

Because DC politicians let healthcare subsidies expire, Kansans could see a 34% increase in healthcare costs. Families are already struggling—this will make it even harder.

As governor, I’ll protect affordable healthcare & ensure families have the care they need.

Kansans should be able to live with dignity. Cutting Social Security & making it harder to get disability benefits hurts older workers, rural families, & veterans. As governor, I’ll keep fighting to protect Social Security & disability benefits so Kansans can retire with dignity.

Starting tomorrow, over 180,000 Kansans will lose access to food assistance. Because politicians in D.C refuse to do their jobs, families will go without groceries and basic necessities. We must demand better.

The administration's move to import more beef from Argentina is a slap in the face to our ranchers.

Once upon a time, Emily Saunders was an intern in my office. Today, she’s a successful attorney. I’m so proud to have her support in my race for governor!

1 in 5 Kansas kids go hungry on a regular basis. Families are already stretched thin, and many rely on food assistance just to get by. But with the government shutdown, thousands of Kansans will lose those benefits starting this weekend.

Earlier this week, I spent an afternoon with the hardworking folks at the AFL-CIO. As the daughter of a union member, I learned early on that strong unions means strong communities. 💪

As governor, I’ll always support our unions and protect workers’ rights here in Kansas.

Politicians in Washington want to cut funding for housing programs that help people get back on their feet, including those struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

In Kansas, we’ve reduced homelessness by over 5% in the last year. These cuts would undo that progress.

Thank you to Patrick Hurley for the endorsement! His dedication to Kansas public schools and our students is inspiring. I’m grateful to have his support and proud that we share a deep commitment to public education. 💙
October 29, 2025 at 8:42 PM
I’ve always believed in public education. My kids went through Kansas public schools, and I got into politics when Brownback tried to destroy them. I’ll always fight to fund our schools, stop vouchers, and put our kids first. 💛
October 29, 2025 at 6:14 PM
For many Kansans, this could be the last week they have food to feed their families. Because politicians in Washington are refusing to reopen the government, thousands of Kansans won’t receive food assistance next week.
October 29, 2025 at 2:38 PM
If there’s one thing you should know about me - I don’t back down from a fight. Especially when Kansas families are on the line. 💪

I’ve spent years in the Legislature fighting for our public schools, affordable healthcare, and lower costs.

Running for office isn’t just about who can win votes. It’s about why we win. Since my very first race, I’ve won in red districts because folks know I’m fighting for working people – not the establishment or the status quo.
October 28, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Ty Masterson and Republican politicians are pushing for a special session to redraw our congressional maps. Instead of focusing on lowering costs for families or strengthening our communities, they’re working to silence voters across our state.
