The constitution’s last stand is with federal judges. Our congressional system is a joke. Judicial system isn’t far behind. Let’s hope none of this makes it to the Supreme Court.
ICYMI: A second federal judge today blocked Trump’s executive order that aimed to end birthright citizenship. This judge in Maryland had reportedly issued a more permanent nation wide injunction that goes further than the temporary restraining order issued from Seattle.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

This is insane. @aoc.bsky.social
USAID’s website has been deleted, all that is left is a note saying all personnel are now on administrative leave and personnel outside the US are to be brought home. Completely illegal, no act of congress or even executive order was signed to dismantle the agency

I voted to reject RFK Jr.'s nomination to HHS.

I cannot in good conscience support someone who denies and will dilute our public health protections, sow distrust in science, and oversee massive cuts to health care programs for vulnerable Americans.

Imagine saying this about an agency that has helped millions of people around the world avoid malaria, obtain clean water, and gain access to food & health care. Especially when you’re the world’s richest man & your net worth is something like 20 times this agency’s annual budget. What a foul soul.

Pronoun sharing is also being banned across Slack in line with a White House mandate.

WIRED confirmed various automated efforts to remove pronouns from both email and Slack at USAID, the EPA, the GSA, and more.
