No government can ever feasibly choose to ignore climate change or pandemics. You can't stop physics or biology by pretending that they don't exist. The only real choice governments make is how badly they and their people will suffer.

Healthcare workers…If your patient is wearing a mask you should too.

When you ask “do you want me to wear a mask?” You’re putting an undue burden on your patient

You’re refusing to acknowledge the imbalance of power that makes us feel uncomfortable saying “yes”

Just wear a mask. At all times.
A Plea to Maskless Healthcare Workers from Vulnerable Patients
If you see a mask - wear a mask. Better yet - wear a mask all the time and show us you understand that we're still IN a pandemic. We are depending on you to keep us safe - please don't betray that.

You couldn't make it up.
The New York Times, so active in getting people repeatedly infected, slips out a quiet little article saying that Covid infections can raise the risk of heart problems for years.

Can we please stop pretending?

There is no faster way for a healthcare worker to destroy the credibility of their expertise than to not wear an N95 mask.

Anyone who can't evaluate situational facts sufficiently to choose to self protect during a pandemic has no business evaluating my medical situation.

I expect the pace to pick up very soon and very significantly.

Major media has let us down significantly over the last ten years, but it's still vital to know what's being reported. go.bsky.app/2JyEju6

I’m taking a “if you build it - they will come” approach to this starter pack.

I’m looking for healthcare workers who have a specific focus in women’s health, reproductive health and/or disability & chronic illness (or all 3!)

Open to all disciplines! The pack is small now but will add as I go:
