Oh, how I wish I lived in a timeline where the NWSL & WNBA Commissioners wanted to support their athletes, who make the owners’ profits and team valuations possible.
But, as with men’s sports, these commissioners keep demonstrating how they are tools of the owners and not stewards of the sports.

It's just such an obvious win for every NWSL club to have Rodman in the league. A massive endorsement for the entire project, that all their Brand partners will enjoy hearing about.

Let’s get this straight:
The Spirit have found a creative way to compensate Trinity within the rules of the CBA. Trinity is completely down with her contract being backloaded and ready to sign. The league wins having their face stay in the league.

I keep sitting with that the NWSL is repeatedly shooting itself in the foot. I think Commissioner Berman has to get it together and realize the league will no longer be competitive. These are professional soccer players. These are jobs — and if they won’t be compensated adequately, they’ll leave.
_This is WILD. What an embarrassment to the NWSL that they can’t offer their most marketable star as much as the Gainbridge Super League!_
