If you want to believe that chronic illnesses can be fixed by “getting out of your head” or “mind over matter”…that’s perfectly fine…that’s for you
But when you offer that as unsolicited advice, to any disabled person…it just makes you an asshole & no one wants to hear it

Trying to get be healthier and workout/eat better. I track calories and stuff like that, but nothing extreme. One of my boyfriend’s friends, “oh but do you weigh your food?” I’m not trying to explain that it would probably push me back into an eating disorder, which I suffered with in high school 🙃
