I have not been to McDonald's since before the pandemic, when I started working from home and therefore not going to the one by my office for a minimum of 2 meals a day by default, and I gotta be honest, this does not make me feel any urgent need to go back

My neighborhood is (almost) solidly Wilson territory, but I feel like even if the NIMBYs in the wealthier neighborhoods continue voting against common sense solutions, they won't stop the denser areas from becoming even denser which in the long run will bring in more and more progressive voters

So far so good, although he keeps wanting to fling his plush beach ball in close proximity to the tree and I'm just waiting for him to send some ornaments flying 🙈
So far Toby has been good about not bothering the tree, but the look on his face suggests that he may have other plans

When I stopped by this morning my mom had two surprises for me, one was a bag of Chex Mix I'd left behind when I stayed there the other week, but she also gave me *another* Christmas ornament, which my brother helped her order when she was visiting him using a picture of Toby she had on her phone ❤️
