My neighborhood is (almost) solidly Wilson territory, but I feel like even if the NIMBYs in the wealthier neighborhoods continue voting against common sense solutions, they won't stop the denser areas from becoming even denser which in the long run will bring in more and more progressive voters

When I stopped by this morning my mom had two surprises for me, one was a bag of Chex Mix I'd left behind when I stayed there the other week, but she also gave me *another* Christmas ornament, which my brother helped her order when she was visiting him using a picture of Toby she had on her phone ❤️

And what's the deal with standards? It makes it sound like you have to stand for something. What if you want to lie down? Maybe they should be called "liards." It sounds kind of like liars, which in Bari Weiss's case, would be accurate.

It's Monday and the outside world is [flails arms wildly], but I got a picture where we are both in the frame and Toby's head is turned less than 45 degrees from the camera, so I'm calling that a win
