My commute to work is 12 minutes without any interstate driving. Depending on my route, I pass either 3 or 4 automatic license plate readers. Today I was able to add 4 new ALPR cameras to the Open Street Map database.

For someone like me who uses #linux #windows and #macOS, Dan Goodin @dangoodin.bsky.social describes one of the most irritating aspects of passkeys and keyrings etc of the various browsers. There is definitely a looong way to go to nail down their use and make it easy for the average user.
Passkey technology is elegant, but it’s most definitely not usable security
Just in time for holiday tech-support sessions, here’s what to know about passkeys.

Just read the response from Costco to shareholders requesting it back down from DEI. It was glorious. It begins "Our Board has considered this proposal and believes … an enterprise rooted in respect and inclusion is appropriate and necessary." and gets better. A happy investor #diversityandinclusion

The FDA "authorized Zepbound for people with obesity and moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea."

It's already approved for obesity.

So isn't it approved for obesity with OSA, obesity with allergic rhinitis, obesity with headaches, obesity with a hangnail, etc?

What's the point of this?
Breaking News: The FDA approved use of the weight loss drug Zepbound for a common form of sleep apnea. It is the first drug authorized to treat the disorder.
