One thing about the Biden admin. is that, two or three levels down, there were tons of smart, focused, pro-social people doing great things that never rose to the level of a headline.

Conversely, an enormous amount of the damage Trumpies are doing never makes the news.

are you all about Tennessee tonight?

here are three other elections you should keep an eye on:

1️⃣ a flip opportunity for Dems in Georgia:
Here's one office Dems could flip on Tuesday.

(No, it's not in TN!)

The Republican mayor of Roswell, a Georgia city of 90K, finished just one percentage point ahead of his Dem challenger on November 4. The runoff is in a few days.

This is what is happening.
We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

The use of terror is not a byproduct of Trumpian politics: it is central to how he governs.

made a similar point on the opinions podcast this week in response to the idea that epstein is a dead end. not only are actual voters interested in this but it divides the gop and puts pressure on the president. it would be political malpractice to treat it as a sideshow

The Epstein coverup will go down as one of the greatest scandals and miscarriages of justice in U.S. history.

Everyone involved with Epstein’s victims or with the coverup needs to be prosecuted and go down in shame.

It does not matter if they are GOP or Dems!

Repost if you agree.

The New York Times quickly sending out Douthat to argue that Mamdani’s victory doesn’t really matter is so predictable it borders on self-parody.
