One his dumbest fucking ideas yet. Here's what we'll have: non-wealthy paying for their home at least twice over in interest -- just like we do with student loans. And, I guarantee you'll have a LOT of homeless seniors bc they won't be able to make their mortgage pmts.

The longest government shutdown in U.S. history has ended, but the uncertainty for federal workers is far from over. “Even with back pay, we’ll still be starting behind and playing catch-up for a while,” said one Veterans Affairs employee who was furloughed for weeks. nyti.ms/4i4bP56

Hallelujah! Rep. Grijalva was finally sworn in. Let the games begin ...
BREAKING: Rep. Adelita Grijalva has officially signed onto the Epstein discharge petition. That means there are now 218 votes — and a full vote must come to the floor.

These fucking #Republicans never let up. Just when I think they've done the most cruel, tone-deaf, corrupt thing they can do -- blam-o! In case you're wondering, the eight are: Graham, Hagerty, Hawley, Sullivan, Tuberville, Ron Johnson, Lummis and Blackburn. No shock re: the names.
AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

The cruelty of this administration is so far beyond my comprehension ...
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

All of these "agents" need to be locked up. This is deplorable. Congratulations on traumatizing a child, you sick fucks.
LA: “They took a US citizen father out and left a toddler in the backseat. Two heavily armed border patrol agents got in that car and drove the child and the vehicle away.”

What are we doing?

Yes! This is why the Dems are fighting the Rs in Congress right now. These rates are fucking criminal.
Open enrollment for ACA healthcare plans has started, and enrollees are seeing what their premium costs will be next year.

Without subsidies, one couple will see their monthly costs increase from $495 to $2,168 — a 300% increase.

This is what Democrats are fighting to prevent.

Republicans who think your seat is safe: no it's not
Looks like the Dems will pick up 12 seats in the VA House of Delegates, which will go from 51-49 to 63-37 D-R. That's an honestly shocking result.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.
