Okay, I've had it with the silly 2C talk.

Oliver Kapanen has 13 goals halfway through his rookie season, ya dufuses. He's melded into that brilliant young line in an astonishingly short time.

How stupid would it be to give up a young player and a pick AND take on salary to get a vet 2C?

For all of those who want to make their final judgement about a player quickly. Like Reinbacher for example right now.

Wait. Wait until 24-25 years of age.

Look at Slafkovsky. He's gone from not sure he was a number one to playing like a star in 3 weeks.

No one knows when the light bulb turns on

Credit to MSL for valuing the face-off so much that he chose Danault to take it.

Danault then won it. He got it to Hutson and the rest you know.

4-3 Canadiens win in one of their best efforts this decade.

Hage is creating so much. Mike Johnson just said Hage has been Canada’s best forward in the tourney. I agree.

This was one of the most enjoyable years ever doing my job.

Covering a winning team is one thing, but covering a winning team with thrilling, dynamic players is so much more.

Did the United States really spend trillions of dollars on winning the Cold War, only for its president in 2025 take orders from a Russian dictator?

Let's have a Danault moment shall we.

The line he centred in the first 2 periods had a 100 Corsi. St. Louis switched Texier out for Bolduc in the third period, and he had a 90 Corsi with his new linemate.

He also was the key centre taking the draw late to tie the game.

Lots of value beyond goals.
