beneath the bravado of evil there’s *always* a shrill, panicked undertone. the louder evil boasts about its dominance, the more weak and frightened it sounds. because evil knows it has already lost and is doomed to vanish.

all that shrieking at the podium today? the cry of the Eternally Defeated.

The U.S. government plans to take 15% of revenue from certain Nvidia and AMD chip sales in China. That may be illegal, experts say.

If the nation’s capital can be occupied by the military for entirely make-believe reasons, understand that this can happen anywhere: at schools & universities, polling places, religious spaces, etc. Nowhere that we work, live, & love will be safe if this is allowed to continue.

For first time ever, Ed Dept just failed to meet this statutory obligation.

The NYPD and ICE mistakenly arrested a Chilean woman who is a permanent resident in New York City and left her poor frightened 12 year old daughter on the street alone.

She was released approximately six hours later.

Trump is proposing a $1 trillion military budget.

Roughly half of US defense spending goes to private military contractors, with investigations finding that these companies routinely price-gouge.

Oh, and the Pentagon has failed seven straight audits.

Even *if* you accept Stephen Miller’s (textually, historically, and morally indefensible) claim that undocumented immigrants are not entitled to due process, you’d *still* need due process to ensure that the individuals at issue are, in fact, undocumented.

His argument fails even on its own terms.
