Brennan defended Trump’s J6er pardons because some of them might be “first-time offenders” or “small business owners,” as if running a car dealership absolves you from the consequences of participating in an insurrection.
Many people commenting on this are saying she's just following Bari Weiss's orders. Which, maybe, but also: Brennan has worked for CBS News since 2012 and has hosted "Face The Nation" since 2018. She's been like this the whole time, though she might be getting bolder now.

Mifepristone is safe, the well-funded effort to persuade people otherwise is as antithetical to the factual record as “climate change is a hoax” — and if Brennan feels willing or obliged to bend the knee to her new corporate management, this seems like a telling sign of that.
