"more than half of unpaid carers in Wales are cutting back on food and heating – and this should be sounding alarm bells of shame across the land.

That’s a 53% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Something is going very wrong with support for unpaid carers in Wales."
Where did it all go so wrong for unpaid carers in Cymru?

Donald Trump is the only person who can lean on Israel to stop starving people to death in Gaza. Keir Starmer could convince Trump to do that. They're meeting on Monday, so we don't have long to get the PM to act. Add your name to the open letter now:

🌍 One Earth. One Team. The UK and EU must work together to tackle climate change, reduce energy costs, and protect our environment. bsky.app/profile/euro...
Brexit is putting bills up and water quality down.

It's time for a UK-EU partnership on Energy, Climate and Environment.

If we are serious about EU membership and mobility then we should be celebrating people who live/work/study/retire across European borders…

Not mocking them, belittling them and saying they’re just “holidaymakers” who deserve Brexit.

EU membership gives people more choices.

Petitions are good, but politicians are far more influenced by votes. We have an excellent opportunity to put pressure on Starmer by organising a mass campaign to vote for pro-EU parties in the local elections.

It would also counter the inevitable headlines trumpeting a Farageist surge.

Most of the time the dismissal is caveated, but it's now becoming increasingly firm. Nor is it some kind of negotiating genius to act recalcitrant on something so illogical. They're being foolish about this and need to urgently sort themselves out.
