This might be a stupid question, but if the aurora is supposed to not be visible to the naked eye but yes visible to camera, will it show up in the phone's preview? It'sa bit cloudy and im not seeing anything, but I'm also on the southern limit of the prediction. (I'm hoping tomorrow is better.)

Alt text has been around for decades. It used to be popular on dial-up when pictures wouldn't load, instead of just having a blank square. It's the same thing now. Used by people with vision issues.
