Someone is making an ad with a montage of Trump verbally attacking journalists, right? (Ideally going back to Trump 1.0.) That should basically play on repeat from now until next November. I am so sick of this

Todd Blanche would have had these emails before interviewing Maxwell. Why didn’t he question her directly about her exchanges? Why did he not follow up when she said things that were onviously a lie?? This shows that was a performance intended to dupe the public and benefit her (and Trump)

Halligan may have obtained the indictment the president wanted, but it...one thing to get a grand jury to indict. Getting a conviction is an entirely different matter. New from me for @brennancenter.org A discussion of the flawed Comey indictment. www.brennancenter.org/our-work/ana...
Comey Indictment Shows Danger of Subservient Prosecutors
The political prosecution of a presidential enemy has left the government with a seemingly unwinnable case — and a justice system tainted by politics.

Pardon Watch 👀: One thing about Trump is that he tends to pardon people for crimes he has been accused or appears guilty of. It's a weird psychological thing, sort of a "self-pardon by proxy." I observed this very early in his first administration, as I pointed out here www.cnn.com/2018/06/05/o...
Trump’s pardon power is a double-edged sword | CNN
Attempting to place himself above the law using a pardon power could land Donald Trump right under Robert Mueller’s thumb, Asha Rangappa says.

The Supreme Court has allowed the Trump administration to dismantle the Department of Education.

This will also allow them to dismantle civil rights oversight, dismantle protections for students with disabilities, and enable the funneling of public money into private schools.

The new tariff letters from Trump to many nations are not serious threats. They are like everything Trump does -- distractions from his problems.

Keep talking about Epstein.

It's an insane letter to be sending to anyone, let alone the head of a neighbouring country. But all I want to do is correct his grammar and punctuation, as the content of the letter is meaningless. It's a distraction. Most of what Trump has done since July 2015 has been about distraction.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

Worst. Premier. Ever. #NeverVoteCon - Ontario’s last decent con premier was in the 70s…. That decade and century are long gone. The cons aren’t in it for you.
Under Ford, the provincial debt has soared by $116 billion to $429 billion, the largest debt of any subnational jurisdiction in the world.

His vanity projects will bankrupt Ontario. #VoteFordOut.

Secretary Pete Hegseth is replacing NPR with Breitbart News, and replacing the New York Times with the New York Post.
