Great to see so many teachers protesting about the scandalous lack of permanency and stability in teaching! They know it's bad for pupils, as well as for those trapped in insecurity.

Edinburgh schools: Teachers wear red in support of colleagues ‘trapped’ in temporary contracts
Teachers across Edinburgh dressed in red today in a national day of action in support of teachers on temporary contracts.

And this is not new to 2025 but a problem many years in the running. Temp contracts are no good for teachers, pupils, schools or anybody’s well being. Permanent posts now!
Teachers dancing in support of their colleagues trapped in precarious work. A disgrace that, in Scotland in 2025, schools don't have stable permanent staffing!
