I’m learning that a lot of things about me that I thought were just quirky little goofs are actually debilitating symptoms of mental illness

There's something really weirdly surreal about watching @joshjohnsoncomedy.bsky.social talk about AI on his special this week and having it cut to a random commercial in the middle of it that's specifically for some company and how they are using AI

Magna Carta dude: "The habeas corpus first originated back in 1215, through the 39th clause of the Magna Carta signed by King John, which provided "No man shall be arrested or imprisoned...except by the lawful judgment of his peers and by the law of the land"
Stephen Miller says they are “actively looking at” suspending the writ of habeas corpus, which is only allowed when the US has been invaded or during an insurrection, which would not allow people to challenge their incarceration in court if they are arrested and detained.

Not only are they ignoring climate change—they’re trying to cover up the cost. Shutting down NOAA’s disaster tracking so we can’t see the BILLIONS it’s costing us? This ain’t solving the crisis—it’s hiding it.
US will stop tracking the costs of extreme weather fueled by climate change
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said it will no longer track the cost of weather disasters, including floods, heat waves, wildfires and more

Once you disregard the legal rights of immigrants, everything is on the table

It was never just about schools, it was never just about libraries, and it isn't actually about the books.

It's about finding a way to banish entire people, entire ideas, out of society, back into the closet or worse.

Skipped the paperwork. Ignored the court order. Broke the law. Ignored the constitution.

This ain’t immigration policy. This is straight-up defiance of the rule of law.
