More dismal and failed politicians, get a job for life, at our expense whilst democracy is weakened yet again. #cronyism. #scandal.

Indeed. Tho I also deplore the revolving door from democratic politics to a peerage in unelected House of Lords. That is part of same UK establishment system of patronage and cronyism?

There is an alternative to Government welfare cuts - a 2% tax on wealth. There is no shortage of money here, we just need a fairer approach to tax - take more from the few not the many.

Spain built a 385.9 mile high speed train line from Madrid to Barcelona it cost £8.1bn.

The UK is still building a 140 mile high speed train line which will cost over £100bn.

Who is stealing all the money?

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services.

Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt.

While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant per person of £10tn.

That's how privatisation 'works'.

Walking around any city or town in the UK you get a real sense of just how poor this country has become. There are homeless people everywhere and they are growing in number. The rest of the people seem miserable, short-tempered, and generally downtrodden. Vicious #Tory austerity has wrecked the UK.

Boris Johnson, Dominic Cummings, Matt Hancock and Michael Gove ran the Covid PPE lanes, while Rishi Sunak rubber stamped every payment.

Given the £14.9bn in fraud they should all be in jail.

Energy renewable sector could trigger a wholly new fossil fuel and truly just economic model. BUT only if we curb the wealth extraction from hedge funds and offshored shareholders. WE need to flood the sector with inclusive and democratic ownership models. Urgently. #Communitywealthbuilding
