This is the beagle/chihuaua mix we've had for about 9 years. Really cute guy, lots of charisma. Pretty schizy on walks in regard to fear, but I guess some things will never change...

You know that moment on World Poker Tour when the last two players are competing for the grand prize, and they go all in on a hand? As soon as one of them says "all in", the other tends to have that GOTCHA! look... Well Trump just declared that he deserves an A+++ for his handling of the economy :o

Texas Democrats Have a Choice - And It's a Big One

"A referendum on the soul of the Democratic Party," he writes. I say let's support whoever has the grit and the passion and the means to defeat the Republican--obviously a Machiavellian and a drone if they are vying for Cornyn's seat.
Texas Democrats Have a Choice - And It's a Big One
Two rising stars. Only one seat. A senate primary that could be a test of the Party's future.

This plutocrat loves trolling Trump and I can't say I disagree with his intent or methods!
Who made this?

Okay! Let's get these Reps on the record!
Ossoff: "This is so much deeper than the politics. What does it say about the moral condition of this Congress that the thing that has them all tied up in knots is a very simple question: Should people's health insurance premiums go up double or triple? This is a policy choice."

From #davidpakman today:
It's truly outrageous and I am wondering where these spineless money-grubbing capitalists are--they should be howling that Trump is fucking the economy up!!

In a piece titled "America’s New Political Reality: Trump Decides Which Beliefs Are Legal”, Thom Hartmann lambasts this lazy, stupid fascist for GROSS violations of the 1st Amendment to the Constitution.
We are in the midst of it now, my friends!
Probably the lowest point since McCarthyism.
America’s New Political Reality: Trump Decides Which Beliefs Are “Legal”
When dissent becomes an “indicator,” the First Amendment stops being a right and starts being a risk…

Holy hell, can you imagine the thing that might cause her ouster is that she is UNDERperforming? I seem to remember her performance as being positively repugnant. But Trump's moral compass is completely reversed.

"Kristi Noem Is Going Home"
Kristi Noem’s time may be up: failed enforcement, courtroom defiance, and a scandalous partner have crossed Trump’s line; an unforgivable sin in the boss’s eyes.

A second, notorious stabbing in Charlotte is only going to fan the flames of fascism. Unfortunately, the fact is that Charlotte is down about 1,000 officers, which engenders crime, which allows for the federal fascists to involve themselves. Not a good cycle.

This is having its 20 year anniversary. Watching it for the 2nd time. It is very good, at least for history buffs who like drama. It's engaging and instructive--for those who can handle the fact that the Romans speak in English accents :)

One theme here is the speed of American institutional collapse.
“It took Erdoğan 15 years to do what Trump did in 100 days. If [Americans] do not accept the fact that this is a long game, and it will be brutal, I think you won’t have the patience and stamina to bear it.”

Was reading about John Adams. He was pretty much the one American who predicted bad things from the French Revolution. Of course we know what elitists can get up to, so the question is: Is the problem simply human beings--and any creation or political system or plan bound to end up screwed up?
