"Omg fruit is full of sugar and so bad for you!" Have you considered that it's also full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber? And a fun fact is that our bodies need these nutrients so no, it's not the same as eating something like ice cream. Not that anything is wrong with ice cream.

Nothing reveals the true motives of the anti-water fluoridation folks more than the fact they never propose public health efforts to remove fluoride from the water where it is naturally high (the actual exposure in most ecological data used to suggest harm to neurodevelopment).

I have seem some popularity around juice cleanses. Some people use this fad diet to "detoxify" the body. While it is a good way to get fruits and vegetables in, it can be dangerous due to the lack of proteins and fats in this diet. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I researched juice cleanses, which involve only fruit & veggie juices for "detox" and weight loss. While they may provide vitamins, they're lacking in fiber & protein—key for health. Do the risks of blood sugar spikes outweigh muscle loss? #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Just like we all experience inner monologues differently we all experience food noise differently, some people won’t even have it. This makes it hard for people to respect and understand the experience of people who do have it, it’s mistaken for lack of willpower.

I’m going to answer more from experience than data. Food noise is when it’s a distraction… intrusive thought, that doesn’t go away after you eat. Unfortunately diet culture tells us normal hunger is noise and noise tells us it’s normal hunger. But everyone’s experience is unique - makes it harder!
here's a question we asked dietitians in one of our private/closed groups...How would you answer? 🤔
