As I was composing an e-mail to support, I flipped over and checked my Sky reader (thank you @jcsalterego.bsky.social) and voila! the feeds all updated.
Hopefully this presages well for the rest of the day (we got an inch of rain between 8:07 and now, all of my local streets are flooded 🌊).

First, it's from a 5 digit #, which is actually a cover for a +251 country code: Ethiopia!
Second, it's the same text (though fucked up in various ways) as a BBB-listed scam e-mail claiming to be from RemX.
Lastly, I went freelance in 1990. 🤡
