Amazing shop. Katie was the first store owner ever to reach out to me and believe in my work. Help if you can.
Books with Pictures (@bkswpicspdx.bsky.social) in Portland, Oregon is a GREAT comic shop, and its owner in @omgkatiep.bsky.social is one of the best. The shop is going through a hard time right now, and if you want to help BwP out, they opened a GoFundMe to help do just that.

Looking forward to Wicked 2: Body Horror Origins to Classic Film Characters. If the tin man origin doesn’t traumatize a generation then what are we even doing

Sure it looked like we saw Bond get blown up on an island and that’s that but you know who else got blown up on an island and it only made him a bigger franchise - that’s right Bond is back he’s 100 meters tall he can’t drive cars but he can fight Godzilla and subsequently team-up

Kathy from "The Mask Returns." Doug Mahnke's been one of my favorite artists in comics for as long as I've had favorite artists in comics, and my copies of the first two "The Mask" TPBs are damn near falling apart at this point. This one was the best of my last batch of Big-head studies.

Shocking cameo at end of Hellraiser 2 - they brought back the mattress mover guy from the first! To move the same mattress! And die at its mattress equivalent of hands!

Would you categorize Hellraiser as a haunted house movie? Only occurred to me on my last rewatch.
