talking to reporters last night, Trump claimed of Hegseth's double tap strike that "I don't know anything about it," then moments later claimed "I don't who you're talking about" when asked his plan to pardon the former Honduran president

trump is the president in the sense that he holds the office but he very clearly isn't the president in the sense that he has basically relieved himself of its duties
Trump’s echo chamber:

Very little U.S travel

No rallies or contact with supporters

Right-wing media

Dinners with rich donors and billionaires

Truth Social

People are making fun of this response but I think all of us have had the experience of sitting in an incredibly loud machine for 20 minutes for a serious procedure and then forgotten about it soon afterward.

Getting an MRI is an uncomfortable circumstance. You get squeezed into a tube and cannot move for about half an hour.

Only a complete idiot, or someone with dementia, would get an MRI and have no idea what part of his body is being damaged.

Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

HAGUESETH has now murdered 80 people in the Caribbean.
The UK recognized the illegality and pulled their intel. Our shared intelligence was meant to help the Coast Guard INTERCEPT suspected drug traffickers NOT kill on sight. Hegseth must be held accountable.

Mark Kelly: "This president, when he says things like 'third world countries,' what is he really saying? I think what he's saying is he doesn't want brown people in our country. And that's disturbing. It's un-American."

Trump 2.0 is a coalition of malevolent authoritarian ideologues and lazy, get-rich-quick scammers. Some see Russian authoritarianism as a model to be emulated, others see Russia as their ticket to easy money. As far as Putin is concerned, they’re both just useful idiots.
1/ The Wall Street Journal reports that the main focus of the US-Russia peace talks is to get commercial advantage for American companies, and personal benefits for individuals linked to the Trump Administration. European officials are said to be shocked by the plans. ⬇️

The prohibition is rather specific.

"The DOD Manual is clear because the law here is clear: 'Persons who have been incapacitated by . . . shipwreck are in a helpless state, and it would be dishonorable and inhumane to make them the object of attack.'"
Harvard Law School’s Jack Goldsmith:

“In short, if the Post’s facts are correct, it appears that Special Operations Forces committed murder when the ‘two men were blown apart in the water, as the Post put it.’”

The fundamental thing to understand about this administration is the president is a grumpy retiree. He has no interest in working anymore. Which leads to him being pissed that he is getting asked a question, pissed he has to show up and work, the scheming viziers running the show, etc..

The arrests — often at courthouses or ICE check-ins — have led to a surge of litigation. But that could be changing: a judge in California last week granted a national class action, and judges in MA and CO have certified statewide classes. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
