You will be shocked, shocked to hear that "The Theory That Men Evolved to Hunt and Women Evolved to Gather Is Wrong"! 🙄 Duh! OF COURSE IT'S WRONG. But now there's a cool article listing the biological and evidentiary reasons, along with nifty diagrams.

I very much agree that it's important not to conflate Jewish people and Israel.

but also...there are definitely Jewish people and Jewish institutions that want to conflate all Jewish people and Israel. 1

Exactly this. It's horrible, it's dysfunctional, it's proof that everything is completely broken, it's the culmination of two generations of the Republican Party trying to break government, and it is also absolutely fucking hilarious because if you can't laugh you'll start screaming
Look. That they can't elect a Speaker is simultaneously a crisis for both America and the world at large, a ploy for those members of the GOP who want the government to fail, and objectively fucking hilarious.

I'm very sorry that all of these are true but they are.

SpaceX successfully buffaloed federal agencies to permit a launch which failed to use standard technology in place since before Apollo, resulting in giant chunks of concrete being throw thousands of feet into wetlands.

Now the agencies are sort-of doing their jobs, so SpaceX is really mad.
elon petulantly overruled his engineers on flame deflectors obliterating his own launch facility and a wildlife refuge, but please notice how it's government and the "regulatory process" that's framed as the real enemy in press reports

There are a lot of things one can fairly say about Jim Jordan. That his honesty is beyond reproach is not one of them.
Analysis | The perils of never questioning what Jim Jordan says
Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) declared that Jim Jordan had absolute integrity and was inherently credible. He might want to be careful with those assumptions.
