Police must consider the “cumulative impact” of protests in the same area

Example: An anti-racist march could be blocked from Whitehall because of a previous farmers’ protest.

Why is embedding Peter Thiel’s Palantir in the British army, navy & airforce a national security disaster? Well consider what happens when you ‘buy’ a Tesla.

You’re actually just renting the software. That can be turned off at any time.

A dominant theme of Hitler's speeches in the late 1930s is that Germany was surrounded by threats. These threats were imaginary: it was Nazi Germany that threatened other nations. But they were used to justify pre-emptive attacks. Trump is following this script.

Let’s not forget Gaza as all eyes are on Trump, Venezuela and Greenland. Israel has revoked the licences of at least 37 aid organisations in Gaza and the West Bank, including Oxfam and Médecins Sans Frontières. The UN has said this is “outrageous”.

Most importantly, Miller is wrong. Plenty of stable societies existed that did not conform to his "iron laws". Such "laws" might apply, however, to centralised, hierarchical political systems, especially those dominated by psychopaths like Stephen Miller.
"We live in a world, in the real world … that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time."

And with these words, Stephen Miller damns his soul to hell for all eternity.

Whatever you might think of Maduro, the seizure and kidnapping of a head of state takes us to a very dark place. Vast, arbitrary, extra-legal power, which could be exercised almost anywhere, regardless of the character of the target government.
