Thank you, Rep. Melanie Stansbury, for acknowledging Martineztown. The ABQ administration and Council should be on the frontlines of preserving that history and protecting historic and underserved communities.
The Martineztown neighborhood is one of the most historic & iconic neighborhoods in all of ABQ.

We visited community leaders, elders & advocates to hear more about the history and people that make this community who it is. There is so much history in our own backyard!

Thank you, Rep. Melaine Stansbury and all of the people who celebrate and acknowledge our special people and places!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

What are you thankful for this year? For me—it’s all of you and the opportunity to serve our communities. Here’s what some of our friends and neighbors had to say this week as well. ❤️

Thank you again, Rep. Stansbury and our NM Congressional Delegation, for standing in support of Chaco Canyon and land sacred to Tribal Nations, land that is part of the cultural heritage all Americans share.
Chaco Canyon is sacred ground. That is why we are fighting to protect this place and ask the American people for their help!

No!
There are on emergency powers that are constitutionally applicable to the conduct of U.S. elections.
It seems like my piece this morning about Cleta Michell saying that Trump will "exercise some emergency powers" to in connection with the 2026 elections hit a nerve.👀

Thank you, New Mexico, for again being a leader in support of public health.
New Mexico has issued a public health order that removes federal restrictions to COVID-19 vaccine access so that pharmacies in New Mexico can vaccinate people of all ages and risk profiles. Every state need to do this!

Proud to live in NM and support our elected leaders and contribute to the welfare of our children and families!
"New Mexico has a Democratic trifecta and a Democratic triplex. The Democratic Party controls the offices of governor, secretary of state, attorney general, and both chambers of the state legislature."

New Mexico made childcare free. It lifted 120,000 people above the poverty line
The state, which has long ranked worst in the US for child wellbeing, became the first and only in the country to offer free childcare to a majority of families

Thank you, Senators Heinrich and Lujan.
Authoritarians rise when people give up their power without a fight. I won’t do that.

Sadly, I do not have a hard time believing anyone would say that empathy is a fundamental weakness. But I have a very hard time believing a person of faith, including anyone who professes to follow the Catholic faith, would say that or support actions by a government that align with that viewpoint.
I have a hard time believing that anyone would say, as Elon Musk did, "The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy." In fact, the fundamental weakness is a lack of empathy.

Thank you, Senator. Please mobilize your Senate colleagues to step up and to speak out against the administration's pivot to Putin. The administration is an embarrassment and national security risk.
1,104 days later, I still stand with Ukraine.

Share if you stand against oppression.

Yet another effort to single out and stigmatize people who are poor. Consuming "junk food" is a poor health decision regardless of one's means.

Thank you, Senator, for opposing Cabinet nominees this week. I recognize that egg and other grocery prices are a significant issue for many in NM. I want to hear more about the damage to the federal workforce, the national security risk and threat to our identity and financial data.
Things Trump Did This Week:

• Made himself chair of the Kennedy Center
• Fired thousands of federal workers
• Imposed a 25% tariff on foreign steel and aluminum

Things Trump Did Not Do This Week:

• Help us lower the costs of eggs

Thank you! I want to see every member of our NM delegation front and center in describing the tremendous costs to our federal workforce and to the people they serve especially in NM. From the labs to our public lands, our economy depends on their work. They deserve our respect!
February 15, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Thank you to every member of the federal workforce and to those I know personally serving the people of this country here in New Mexico my heartfelt gratitude and determination to do everything possible to see this corrected.
REPOST if you support our federal workforce and know how dedicated they are to their jobs. Show them you appreciate them!

Thank you, Canada and Prime Minister Trudeau. You have been there and some of us in the U.S. remember and honor that.
"We have fought and died alongside you....During your darkest hours...we were always there. Standing with you, grieving with you, the American people.” I’ve had my differences with Justin Trudeau, for sure, but he rose to the occasion here.

Thank you, Senator. The list of federal programs frozen can be found here. This is both blatantly unlawful and specifically intended to harm with an emphasis on those most vulnerable. Just one example, Navajo-Gallup Water Supply.
