Affordability starts with transparency. Broadband labels should show the real price—no fine print, no surprises. Weakening consumer protections only drives bills higher and trust lower.

Secretary Hegseth and Secretary Rubio came to the Hill this week to brief all 100 Senators on the boat strike in the Caribbean. We didn’t learn anything new, just the continued cover-up. Congress has made its position clear – release the 2nd strike video.

Hegseth is not fit to hold his position.

An independent watchdog found that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared sensitive war plans on Signal, recklessly endangering our brave troops. Secretary Hegseth should take responsibility for his actions – and a growing list of scandals – and resign. Our men and women in uniform deserve better.

Today, @heinrich.senate.gov, @fernandez.house.gov, @repstansbury.bsky.social, @repgabevasquez.bsky.social, and I demanded immediate action from HHS Sec. Kennedy after funding interruptions and the shutdown forced Head Start programs to close or cut services nationwide. Our children deserve better.

The president is confused.
Trump: "For generations Miami has been a haven for those fleeing communist tyranny in South Africa. I mean, if you take a look at what's going on in parts of South Africa. Look at South Africa, what's going on. Look at South America, what's going on. You know, we have a G20 meeting in South Africa."

This week, I hosted a telephone town hall to hear directly from thousands of New Mexicans about the Republican shutdown. I always appreciate the chance to connect – whether it’s in person or over the phone – and to hear directly from you.

To my Republican colleagues: It’s time to step up for the American people and prevent millions of our constituents from seeing their health insurance premiums skyrocket.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans chose to shut down the federal government. This crisis was avoidable.

Now, President Trump is saying “a lot of good can come from shutdowns” – while admitting he’ll use this one to inflict as much pain as possible on the American people.

This shutdown crisis is 100% of Republicans’ making. They’re holding affordable health care hostage and using federal workers as political pawns to push their reckless agenda. @democrats.senate.gov are fighting to keep families covered and avoid another Trump shutdown.

Republicans control the White House, House, and Senate. Instead of governing responsibly, they’re driving us into another Trump shutdown. @democrats.senate.gov are fighting to keep the government open and protect Americans’ health care.

The president is not a doctor – and spreading false medical claims is dangerous. He’s undermining science and research to push unproven conspiracy theories, and it’s pregnant women and families who will suffer most. Trust your doctor, not this guy.

Vaccines keep kids safe. But Secretary Kennedy’s anti-vaccine agenda is putting children at risk, and making it harder for families to access care.

Thank you @bluntrochester.senate.gov for hosting this forum to expose these dangers and highlight why strong public health leadership is essential.

This is what leadership looks like in New Mexico – creating opportunities for our children, lowering costs for families, and improving pay for the workforce. This is a big deal for New Mexico’s children, parents, and families!
We did it, New Mexico! Yesterday we made history as the first state in the nation to guarantee no-cost child care for every family. This is a game-changer for parents, kids, and communities across our state—and a blueprint for the nation.
