I am REALLY hoping Lower Decks ends with a title card that says "And the adventure continues" in the vein of The Search For Spock. Not just because they love to nod at TOS films, but also to signify that there's more for this crew in the pipeline.
I am of two minds about Star Trek: Lower Decks.

One one hand: I can't believe this show exists, I can't believe we got FIVE SEASONS of it, and we are so, so lucky to have had it because it just feels like it is too good to have actually happened.

On the other: I want a lot more than five seasons.

So, my boyfriend didn't even take me in to my hotel. I had to carry my Amazon order, which I had delivered to him since I am between addresses, and my cane. I fell right outside the hotel. He knew I was drunk.

@ronanfarrow.bsky.social reports on how the Trump Administration could use phone-hacking software to surveil citizens and target vulnerable groups. “Every single person should be worried,” a privacy expert said.
The Technology the Trump Administration Could Use to Hack Your Phone
Other Western democracies have been roiled by the use of spyware to target political opponents, activists, journalists, and other vulnerable groups. Could it happen here?

Remember when I wrote 2 poems to my polyamorous partner Nate because I caught feelings for him. Tonight I told him over the phone that I loved him. He responded I love you too. I am soooo excited!!!!!!!

My polyamorous theyfriend is visiting their wife over Thanksgiving. When he is there, we text two times a day: when he wakes up and when he goes to bed. He went to bed unusually early last night because he hasn't been sleeping. Now he won't answer his good morning texts. I'm worried

I have come up with a brilliant way to make it clear to readers that it is a Satanic horror story with a BDSM romance instead of confusing readers and myself about what is A plot vs what is B plot. It is going to involve a lot of work, but it will be worth it.

One of them. Gardner began writing for pulp magazine markets in the 1920s when there were a LOT of venues hungry for stories--and many million-worders per year providing. Thanks to Perry Mason, he was the rare pulpsmith who later transitioned successfully to the trade publishing market.
Erle Stanley Gardner (creator of Perry Mason) has to be the most prolific fiction writer ever. Stephen King writes 10k words a day but that’s just rough drafts. Gardner PUBLISHED that many words every 3 days.

So, Nat, my theyfriend, gave my an extra 4 days in his apartment. Of course, the cost of that is that I have to see if Uber Eats will do my Thanksgiving turkey in a loaf pan dinner. Polyamory is about communications, they say. Except when it involves something uncomfortable.
