Something of a scientist, definitely a nerd and father.
Toffee Crisp never tasted like proper chocolate so this is probably a good thing.

What a record indeed. And her crisps were pretty decent too.

Not a penalty for me, but very stupid to do it.

Will this drought in Yorkshire never end? The land is parched and the cattle are suffering*
*According to Yorkshire water who still have a drought order and hosepipe ban in place.

Everything a great collab should be. Top performance from a legend, and the new kids bringing her right up to date (at the time anyway).

I don’t know what this picture is but the way it’s cropped makes it look like a guy standing next to a mecha/robot with a penis cannon. If that’s the Navy’s new strategy, I salute them.

I just came on Bluesky to make this exact point. Disappearing foam and magically topped up lagers all round. Great film though.
I do love Ice Cold In Alex but the continuity errors in the amount of foam of the lagers they've been waiting for the whole film is hilarious

Plur1bus continues to delight this week. From John Cena to “yes, it’s not ideal, but that’s the end of that”, to a great gag to finish the episode and ending with that version of People are Strange. Just brilliant. Also, the strategically placed foam made me laugh.

Black Grape last night in Sheffield. Really enjoyed it. Organic dance fun e hip hop. I say organic because they eschewed trying to sound really close to the records, instead putting as much energy as possible into the performance. Brilliant. Would go again and I think it would be different next time

Bonus Dodgy at Black Grape tonight. They sound incredible and I love a singing drummer.

When I first started listening to podcasts (including Richard’s) my car stereo wouldn’t talk to an iPod so I had to burn podcasts to CD on a Sunday and listen to them throughout the week on my travels around the country.

Thank you for your services to podcasting (which started before it was cool!)

I don’t suppose that anyone will care too much but I started listening to Newscast in 2020 and have just stopped because of this Reeves nonsense.

In a change for me, I’m actually watching Plur1bus pretty much as it’s released. Yes the story’s intriguing and Rhea Seehorns acting is incredible, but the thing looks a millions dollars too. Beautifully lit, composed and coloured in every single shot. Gorgeous.

Hannah Frye must be making some brass from her social media collabs. No criticism just an observation.
