Jamie Carragher quiet as a fucking mouse. Not peep about Liverpool or Arnie Slots behaviour.

He has the power & platform to drive the national footballing debate but he doesn’t want negative press to destabilise Liverpool.

Kinda proves he thinks this stuff has an impact & that’s why he’s silent.

It is crazy that the top level soccer players are asked to basically play 11 months out of the year, often playing at the highest intensity every 3-4 days over that 11 months. That doesn't seem sustainable for all but the freakest of the freak athletes.

Going through to the league cup semis low key probably the one of the worst things to happen to our season.

Liverpool had a Henderson-Fabinho centre-back pairing for a run of games in 2020/21. Real Madrid started with two midfielders and an academy kid in their back four at the Man City last night. These things do happen.

Bad luck might be a factor but this isn't an exceptional one-off run of misfortune.

What can you say at this point? Devastating news for Havertz and terrible for the team. Feels like another gut punch in a season of gut punches. Just got to keep rolling with them and see what happens. If there's any positive at all, it's that those still standing can play without any pressure.

Wild we are here and I’m basically done with the season
The Gunners have lost none of their last 14 Premier League matches (W9 D5 L0).

Did think doing this was moronic.
The tifo of Rodri holding the Ballon d'Or only served to motivate Vinicius Junior against Manchester City.

"Whenever the opposing fans do things like this, it gives me more strength to play a great game and here I did that."

I understand every bit of anger & frustration about our situation. I feel a lot of it too. I also think there’s room for at least *a little* acknowledgment that sometimes you’re just totally fucked & losing Saka, Jesus, Martinelli & Kai at the same time is one of those situation

Kai has played almost identical minutes to Haaland & Salah in all comps. I see hardly any mention of them being overplayed or poorly managed. (& salah is over 30). I really believe the justifiable frustration about transfers is leading people to draw specious injury conclusions

Very much enjoying the 10 day of “no Arsenal” gap….

People are debating whether Kieren Tierney will play left wing 🤣🤣.

Enjoy not having to worry for a few days 👍

I've been watching back some of the 22/23 season and Gabriel is noticeably, tangibly better now. By a fair bit.

If you want to point out we’ve been poor at recruiting FWs, needed one for a few windows & have failed to do it again… be my guest. I think you’re right. But I don’t think the pool of players who help us is very big. Since we are very good already. I’m disappointed we have not found that guy though

Feel like any other discourse on this season is almost worthless
What I'm calling Arsenal's Big Three -- Saka, Odegaard, Saliba -- have all been in the Premier League starting XI in 10 of 22 matches this season. Include Rice and it's just eight.

There has been one starting XI since August to contain White, Rice, Saka, Saliba and Odegaard (Chelsea, away).

ANOTHER training session injury.

The pattern is VERY clear now.

Arsenal absolutely *do* need ~2 more players who grab a draw by the neck and single-handedly turn it into a win. But if you don't like physical try-hard space-eater signings like Havertz and Merino, go watch Man City to see what a floor can look like without that profile.

Maintaining this energy for Arsenal for the rest of this season.

Kick things off on a positive note tonight now 🔴⚪️

On balance, I'd take Cunha now to bolster the team, then go big for a world class striker in the summer when options may be broader and fees not so oppressive.

The richest 50 billionaires in the UK make £2m profit every single day, each.

On this they pay an average of 11% tax.

The average person pays 37%.

It is time to stop saying we can't tax them, and start taxing them.
