My plea to Charlotte and the rest of the country is simple: get ready.

Because when ICE or CBP shows up, fear will spread fast. But courage can spread faster.

A 3% surcharge on incomes over $1M baked into the IL state constitution. Avoids the “they’re just gonna suck up your rates” argument that killed the fair tax.

This is the way.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Throughout this shutdown, Democrats have shown that we have the backbone to actually fight for what we believe in: lower costs, accessible healthcare, and a Congress that can be a check on Trump’s chaos.

Vague Republican promises are not enough — no deal without real progress on healthcare.

I have started a few brand new Twitter accounts recently and I have been struck by how new accounts are immediately inundated with right wing content.

I understand why people are still there but if that’s your primary source for news you are undeniably being manipulated.
