The toughest topics: territorial questions, frozen Russian assets, and future security guarantees are still on the table. On NATO, Ukraine aims not to amend its constitution regarding membership.

Taxing the wealthy more heavily is necessary in many ways. Not sufficient as this argues persuasively. But seeing the ultra rich pay proportionately would help legitimate broader based taxation for the sake of improving public services and welfare
Wealth tax and looser fiscal rules won’t save the Budget | British Politics and Policy at LSE

Brilliant analysis of how Labour should go back to basics in its presentation of why taxation fairly and adequately levied is the price of civilisation, but expressed in concrete terms as good health, education, care, security. Defy the Daily Mail!!

75% of Britain is farmland, just 1% is taken up by houses. So let’s not fuss overly on the 1% of the 1% (small plots) and focus instead on the 75% of 75% which we can give back to nature if we stop animal farming - that’s 50% of our entire country.

I agree with Gove (shock) that this is not the right thing to do - but it’s worth bearing in mind that the industry that has taken the vast majority of land aka ‘homes' from nature is not the housebuilding industry - it’s farming. And that’s driven by our food choice.
