The wealthy are always so GD worried some poor people are gonna commit some small time fraud. Meanwhile, big corporations are committing HUGE afraid. Just look at defense contractors.

Why? Because we have all been taught to see the wealthy as virtuous and to see the poor as lazy and unworthy.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

So many vulnerable people were hurt, harassed and raped by these ghouls and now—I’m worried—it’s gonna become hehe haha lurid internet circus instead of a long overdue moral reckoning. I’m scared of who we all are becoming. That man has brought us ALL low.

Very comprehensive article of the western Alaska climate disaster caused by Typhoon Halong.
More than 1,500 Native Alaskans have been forced from their homes by Typhoon Halong, most of them in the towns of Kipnuk (pop. 715) and Kwigillingok (pop. 380). Officials said that a total of 49 communities were affected.

15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, sold-out politicians block progress on all fronts to appease their corporate donors.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

Today’s act of political violence in Utah against Charlie Kirk is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

We don’t have to agree on everything, but we should all agree on this: political violence is wrong, and has no place in our democracy

They should have no peace during this extended "vacation." I can't understand such a long recess for whatever reason.
Rather than proceeding with a House vote to release the Epstein files, which is something BOTH Democrats AND Trump supporters now want, Speaker Johnson has sent everyone out early for the August recess to bypass a vote and protect Trump.

Listen to how easily Johnson lies and how bad he is at it:
