We have 7 months of evidence of Mark Carney’s ill-intent and the only thing that keeps him in a favourable light is the complete abdication of Canadian media from their jobs.

This seems hyperbolic to people who have not read this legislation but it isn’t. Furthermore people will tend to think it is an exaggeration because two women are presenting them this information. This isn’t a hyperbolic analysis and there is a very good reason it is not front-page Canadian news.

Really important that we amplify what is happening.

I remember Harper tightly controlling messaging and access but this seems even worse.

This is NOT the party of “free speech” and that hypocrisy needs to be made clear.
CBC's Evan Dyer reports on how Pierre Poilievre is treating #cdnmedia on the campaign trail. Poilievre's staffers pushing reporters around. Denying access. Not allowing questions. #cdnpoli

CBC/Radio-Canada is a pillar of our Canadian identity.

We’re going to strengthen our public broadcaster with more long-term funding, and a modernized mandate — to deliver more local news and keep Canadians better informed during emergencies.

It really is beyond time to nationalize our oil industry, like Norway.

Canadians have been footing the bill - to develop the industry, build the infrastructure, promote it, subsidize its workers, clean up after negligent private companies, suffer pollution, pay to fight forrest fires…

Enough.
Canadians, mostly Ontario/Quebec, paid to establish oil industry. You didn’t have the money.

Canadians paid for infrastructure for you to sell it. The pipelines, highways, etc. You couldn’t pay for it alone with your small population.

It’s Canada’s oil.

And you ARE landlocked. 🤷‍♀️
Demands respect while giving NONE! 🖕🖕🖕
Alberta Smith vows to double Alberta’s oil and gas production, slams Ottawa’s energy caps, and demands federal respect.

This is outrageous and unjust. And it's utter insanity how this administration is treating our allies. It will come back to haunt & harm us.

But the horrible treatment & terrible conditions aren't worse when the detainees are white. No one deserves this. And no human being is "illegal."

This story is scary and shameful. We Americans should all feel shame for what our country is doing to real people. We must continue to #ResistFascism
Keep in mind that Ice detention isn’t just a bureaucratic nightmare. It’s a business! 😐
