So much of what Poilievre has done since his cheering on of the failed insurrection in Ottawa would be disqualifying in a country that took democracy seriously. This interview, interference by foreign powers to help his party leadership, lack of security clearance, the list goes on.
For the record, people should also be a little more concerned that Poilievre, leader of the official opposition, who refuses to get security clearance, just gave an exclusive interview to a known Russian asset like Peterson.
I point to the existence of the Indian Act (1876) and the residential school system (in place until 1996) as proof that racism existed in Canada before “recent decades”.
