I'm so excited, got a new bicycle ordered and it'll be the first non-walmart bike I've ever had, it's still nothing crazy, a Trek Verve 3 but to me it's a Mercedes. I haven't had a car in ages and only for brief periods, this really feels like a game changer. Also just plain excited to ride again.

Thinking about this trans girl at my overwhelmingly conservative small town college. I couldn't believe she did the unthinkable and just went for it. She lit my path. Now I'm scared again, mostly back in the closet publicly but I feel like I'm letting down so many people that need that light.

My husband @robertcooper-us.bsky.social and I were the FIRST gay couple to adopt children in this country. We adopted our first baby back in 1985, and eventually adopted five in all. Here’s a pic of our two oldest kids meeting their younger brother for the first time. We later adopted twin girls! ❤️
