Your regular reminder that kindergarten spelling is NOT necessary on Bluesky; nobody will hide your posts for writing words like an adult. An asterisk is not part of the Roman alphabet used in English.

California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you.

Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide.

So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

Sucks being denied access to bathrooms doesn’t it.
Kristi Noem is mad they wouldn’t let her in to use the restroom in Illinois today.

It’s disturbing to me, when I say to otherwise kind, intelligent, aware people, “wow, bad shit is happening”, and they reply to me, “Oh you have to not watch the news. Don’t read the papers! Just don’t think about it.”

And NO that is a TERRIBLE answer. That’s exactly how we got here to begin with.

Same. In my youth I truly believed humanity was becoming more enlightened and technology would help that climb. Starting around 25 years ago I realized I was wrong on both counts. We were both raised in the eye of a hurricane which has now moved forward.

Slagging off the 60s is now common, as if the lack of revolution were proof of failure. I value highly what I learned and was part of and still drives me. I'm surrounded by people who are shocked by conservatve backward thinking, but that now seems the norm to me and we the odd ones out.

Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn’t want you to know her opponent’s name. That’s how desperate she is to keep her seat.

I’m Shawn Harris. I am a Democrat, husband, father, Retired Brigadier General, and farmer. I’m running against her. Share my name.

The Los Angeles Public Library is great. Especially the large e-book and audiobook libraries. Free to California residents and $50/yr for out of state.
Destroy this myth. Please share if you have visited and researched in a library this past year! RT And give a shout out to your favorite library you have ever visited.
